It is very hard to predict my little one’s taste buds. One day she likes strawberry and next day she would not touch it. I am always struggling to understand what she likes and when. Last week my hubby bought two packets of strawberries which on sale thinking that little one will devour everything. It doesn’t happens as last week she is not fan of oatmeal with strawberry but gone back to her Indian roots dosa for her breakfast. Furthermore this week’s fruit is apple.
Yesterday morning when I opened one pack of strawberries, few of them were on the verge of extinction, so I decided to do something with it. Nowadays I am not making any desserts so it is a question to bake something with them. If I made them I have to eat as it was like a punishment. So decide to make a smoothie with them. I had one mango also, so I made a smoothie with strawberry and mango and added a tablespoon of sugar and little bit of vanilla extract and made a creamy rich smoothie. Little one liked the taste and she started drinking with her small spoon and plastic cup. Everything needs to be plastic for her, others if she doesn’t like anything, in split of seconds the cups and plates will fly from one of the room to other end. To survive her discus throw we give her only in plastic cups.
She already broke my glasses and hubby’s glasses are out of shape that any time it can happen anytime. She does within a minute so you won’t get enough time to remove or hold or anything. I don’t how many glasses have to be broken before she’s grown up. Any way I made this smoothie little sweet enough as strawberries are little tart, so adjust the sugar according to your sweetness. Here goes the recipe.
