Happy Mother’s day to all wonderful mother’s of the
world.
Mother is only relationship in the world which a child knows
from the beginning. Dad is only known to
the child, when a mother tells him or her about him. All mothers are great, wonderful, and
unselfish, and who only knows to love and expect nothing in return, but a
simple smile.
I loved my mom a lot, but now when I myself have experienced
motherhood, do I realize the suffering she put up with, to look after us. Even
when I was throwing tantrum, she patiently stood there and tried to calm me
down.
She is the best friend I had.
She is the best cook
I ever known.
She is the best critic.
She laughed with me, for all my crazy jokes.
She used to buy gift for me in spite of the fact she could
not afford one for herself.
When I was young, she loved to dress me up when I would ask,
how I looked, she would say I am the beautiful girl in the world.
She stayed awake when I was studying.
She would cry with me.
She joins me with movie I want to watch, even if she doesn’t
understand the language.
She supports me in every thick and thin.
Mom, I made you a grandma,
but you are not here to see them. I know you are watching your grand kids from
Heaven as you are not with me.
I miss you mom .
Yesterday while I was browsing my usual cookery channels in
Malayalam language, I saw one of the episodes in a restaurant making this
juice. In that chef used pineapple, lime
and mint. Since I have no lime in hand I used lemon. I plucked fresh mint from
my garden. Asked hubby can I try this, as usual he give me go ahead signal. In
no time I made this. At first I used only ½ tablespoon of sugar. My little one
was not happy while taking a sip. But when I increased sugar by two more teaspoons,
I got the result immediately and she was willing to finish it. If you like
mint, and then go for it. Otherwise don’t try this one. Here is the recipe.
